Ms. Taylor M.O.T., OTR/L

Clinical Director

Taylor is the Occupational Therapist here at Talk About Therapy. She is credentialed by the National Board of Occupational Therapy. Taylor received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Health Sciences. She also received her Master’s degree from James Madison University in Occupational Therapy.

Taylor has experience in the outpatient setting with both children and adults. Taylor has worked with children of varying ages from 2-18 with ASD, Down syndrome, and varying developmental delays addressing primarily emotional regulation, handwriting, sensory processing, and motor and processing skills for increased participation and function in occupational performance.

In her spare time, Taylor loves to read, watch movies, and spend time with friends. Since moving to the Atlanta area, Taylor loves exploring new places and finding new walking trails for her and her dog Norman to explore. Taylor is excited to meet you and provide you with the best client-centered care!

Hannah

Ms. Hannah MHS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Hannah is an Occupational Therapist here at Talk About Therapy. She is credentialed by the National Board of Occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Georgia. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia, her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta University), and is currently seeking her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

Hannah has been an occupational therapist for 6 years, and has spent her entire career in the field of pediatrics. Hannah has worked with children ranging in age from 6 months to 21 years old with a variety of diagnoses such as ASD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, general developmental delay, chromosomal deletions, and more. Hannah is experienced in completing therapeutic treatment of sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, visual motor skills. Hannah is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Astronaut Training, Therapeutic Listing, and hippotherapy, with additional continuing education related to sensory processing, visual motor skills and low vision, and more.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys reading, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and hiking with her dog, Barley, and spending time with her partner and friends exploring all that Atlanta has to offer.

Carol

Ms. Carol M.O.T.., OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Carol is an occupational therapist at Talk About Therapy. Carol completed her Bachelor’s Degree at The University of Georgia and her Master’s Degree at Augusta University.

Carol completed her clinical experiences in both inpatient adult acute care and pediatric outpatient settings. She has worked with children of varying ages with ASD, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Angelman’s syndrome and varying developmental delays, primarily addressing emotional regulation, social skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and FM skills for increased participation and function in occupational performance.

In her spare time, Carol loves to watch movies, bake treats, go on nature walks and spend time with friends and her calico cat, Rosie. Since moving to the Atlanta area, Carol loves exploring new restaurants and trying new foods with her roommate. Carol is excited to meet you and build strong relationships with the kids and their parents to provide the best in-clinic care, hopefully resulting in great progress at home!

Car’Daijah

Ms. Car’Daijah OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Car’Daijah received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Auburn University in Montgomery. She was a member of the first cohort to receive an entry-level doctorate at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is credentialed by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.

Car’Daijah has experience in acute care hospital and in outpatient with children. She also worked in a preschool prior to attending graduate school, and children have always held a huge place in her heart. Her capstone project to receive her doctorate degree was centered around teaching preschools and daycare staff strategies and modifications to make their classrooms more inclusive for both typically and non-typically developing children. She has worked with children with ASD, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorders.
Lauren

Ms. Lauren OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Lauren is an Occupational Therapist here at Talk About Therapy. She is credentialed by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and licensed by the state of Georgia. She received her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Georgia College & State University and received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Lauren has clinical experience in the neonatal intensive care unit, adult acute care, and outpatient pediatric settings. She has worked with children of all ages of varying diagnoses such as ASD, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and more.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends and husband being active and in the outdoors. Lauren is excited to work with you and your child to promote your child’s individual growth and development!
