Niti Shah SLP

Niti Shah M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Founder & Speech Language Pathologist

Niti Shah M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is the founder of Talk About Therapy LLC. She is a speech-language pathologist credentialed by the board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Niti earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech with a Minor in Spanish from Georgia State University and her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of West Georgia. Niti is also trained in the Beckman Oral Motor approach.

Niti has experience working with pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings. Niti also has experience evaluating and treating children with Tongue Tie (Ankyloglossia) and Lip Tie (pre- and post-frenulectomy), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Feeding Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Apraxia, Articulation Disorders, and Pragmatic Skills. Niti has extensive experience with early intervention for children from birth to 5 presenting with Tongue and Lip Tie, feeding and swallowing disorders, and a variety of speech and language disorders. She has worked with a multitude of medically fragile children presenting with a wide array of complex disorders.

In her spare time, Niti loves to explore Atlanta with her husband and golden retriever, Mia.

Katie Stangl SLP

Katie Stangl M.S., CCC-SLP

Lead Speech Language Pathologist - Clairmont

Katie is the Lead Speech Language Pathologist here at Talk About Therapy. Katie received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Jacksonville University.

She is specialized in sensory feeding and pediatric dysphagia as well as experienced with expressive and receptive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, oral motor disorders, stuttering, articulation, pragmatics, auditory processing and language processing disorders, and early intervention. 

Outside of work my favorite thing to do is go on hikes with my husband and dog, Wilson.

Shana-Rajan

Shana Rajan M.S., CCC-SLP

Lead Speech Language Pathologist - Cumberland

Shana is a Speech Language Pathologist at Talk about Therapy who received her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education and master’s degree in speech language pathology from Seton Hall University.

Shana has been working as a speech language pathologist for the past three years. She has experience working with the pediatric population in both an outpatient setting and a private school setting. She has worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, receptive and expressive language disorders, feeding disorders, mild-severe hearing loss, apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, and agenesis of the corpus callosum. She has heavily worked with students with AAC devices (both low tech and high tech) in individual and group settings (in the form of push-in for group lessons within the classroom).

In her spare time, Shana loves to go on hikes with her friends and husband, try new restaurants, bike ride and watch movies. She recently moved from Philadelphia to Atlanta and is excited to explore her new home! Shana is excited to be a part of Talk About Therapy with such a great group of dedicated and experienced speech language therapists!

Abby has worked in the school setting for 2 years before transitioning to the private practice sector in the summer of 2021. After she transitioned to private practice, her age range expanded to 12 months-16 years old. Abby also has experience working in the acute hospital setting in early intervention. Abby has experience in the areas of feeding, oral motor weakness, articulation, expressive language, receptive language, fluency, pragmatic language, and both high/low tech Augmented and Alternative communication. She has experience with multiple medical diagnosis’s including Down syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder, vein of Galen malformation, muscular weakness, and intellectual disabilities. 

In her free time, Abby enjoys traveling, exploring local food establishments with friends, religiously watching the STL Blues (LGB!!) and STL Cardinals, and give/receive cuddles from her kitty cat Iris. She also loves to sit down on her porch with a good book and a (large) cup of hot coffee.

Bailey-Dunnahoo

Bailey Dunnahoo M.Ed., CF-SLP

Bailey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of West Georgia and her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders-Speech Pathology from the University of West Georgia.

Bailey has experience in both the school and medical setting with various populations. Bailey has worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, auditory processing disorders, developmental delays, and pragmatic disorders.

In her spare time, Bailey loves to go hiking and explore new places with her friends and family. She also enjoys binge watching TV shows and cooking. Bailey is excited to be a part of our team and provide client-centered therapy to every child.

Isabella-Montiel

Isabella Montiel M.Ed., CF-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Isabella is a Speech Language Pathologist with Talk About Therapy and an Atlanta native who grew up in Alpharetta, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2022 with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

She attended UGA for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees…Go Dawgs! In her free time, Isabella enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching the Braves play, walking her dog Zeus, and traveling. Isabella is also bilingual, she speaks both English and Spanish!

Chelsea-Grant

Chelsea Grant M.Ed., CF-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Chelsea is a Speech Language Pathologist at Talk About Therapy, she graduated from the University of West Georgia with her Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020 and with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May of 2022.

Chelsea has experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and school settings to provide skilled speech therapy intervention to individuals of all ages and has worked with children presenting with ASD, fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays,  pragmatic disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech. Chelsea also has experience providing early language intervention for children ages 17 months to 5 years old and working with low-tech AAC to facilitate communication.

Chelsea enjoys going on hikes with her fiance, reading books in coffee shops, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Stefanie-Grams

Stefanie attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Her passion for becoming a speech pathologist came from growing up with her grandma’s speech deficit after suffering a stroke. Witnessing the frustration and lack of ability to communicate inspired Stefanie to pursue a career in the field of speech. Stefanie loves working with children and adolescents to help them communicate with those in their environment and tailoring her services to meet the individual needs of each client and their family. She has worked in a private practice working closely with a variety of disorders and syndromes including Apraxia, Articulation, Attention Deficit, Auditory Processing, Autism, Augmentative Communication, Global Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, and Stuttering. 

Her spare time is spent traveling, spending time with family and friends, being in nature, baking, hiking, and exploring new restaurants.

Haleigh Carr

Haleigh Carr M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Haleigh received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Valdosta State University and has worked as a speech-language pathologist in the pediatric outpatient setting for the past year.

She has experience working with clients ages 1yr- 18yrs. old with various diagnoses including autism, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological disorders, speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, fluency disorders, and hearing loss. Haleigh also has experience evaluating and treating using low-tech and high-tech Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC). Haleigh utilizes a range of evidence-based practice approaches as well as child-centered therapy to provide the best therapeutic experience for her patients. 
 
In her free time, Haleigh enjoys re-watching her favorite tv shows, attending any ATL sporting event, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and most of all walking/playing with her dog Fern. 
RebeccaGillen

Rebecca Gillen M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Rebecca is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She is bilingual (English-Spanish) and has a passion for working with bilingual/Spanish-speaking families. A Georgia native, Rebecca graduated with bachelors degrees in Psychology and Spanish from Kennesaw State University before obtaining her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

She has been working professionally since 2017 in both schools and private clinic settings. She specializes in bilingual language development and has additional certifications in PROMPT and as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. 
 
Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs at home and on Georgia’s hiking trails. Her favorite hobbies are team trivia, traveling, and tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

Salwa Khan M.S., CCC-SLP

Salwa is a Speech-Language Pathologist with Talk About Therapy. Salwa earned her Bachelors and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Illinois State University.

She has experience in working with both pediatric and adult populations in the outpatient, nursing home, high school, and preschool settings. Salwa has worked with clients presenting with cognitive-communication disorders, fluency disorders, articulation and language disorders, dysphagia, and individuals with ASD.

Salwa is originally from Illinois and is an avid Chicago Bulls fan. In her free time, she loves to bake, bike on trails, and enjoy exploring Atlanta’s bubble tea shops.
